If you care about education as a citizen,
taxpayer, parent, grandparent, aunt or
uncle:

-
Get out and vote on August 18 if you live in District 2 or 5. Check which district you live in. It’s the same as your County Commission District.
-
This isn't just a parents issue. School board decisions touch every taxpayer, family, and neighbor in Manatee County.
-
School board races are non-partisan. Nonpartisan means everyone votes. No party label, no party barrier — if you're registered, you're eligible. Please register if you haven’t already - votemanatee.gov.
-
August 18 could be the only election. If one candidate gets over 50% it's done. If not, the top two run in November.
-
Don’t let others decide for you. Vote August 18 (or earlier in person or by mail if you request a mail ballot).
